1. Agreement

By contacting Northguard Security or using any of our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Northguard Security provides remote cybersecurity services including malware removal, security assessments, scam recovery, and security advisory engagements. All services are performed remotely unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Services are provided as described at the time of booking. Scope of work will be discussed and agreed upon before any session begins.

This website may use cookies and basic analytics provided by our hosting platform to understand site traffic. No personal data is collected through these tools.

3. What Is Not Included

Our services do not include:

  • General IT support, hardware repair, or software installation unrelated to security

  • Network infrastructure setup or troubleshooting

  • Data recovery from damaged or failed storage devices

  • Ongoing monitoring unless explicitly included in an agreed advisory engagement

  • Any service not discussed and agreed upon before the session begins

Any work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately before proceeding.

4. Fixed or Free Policy

Malware removal services are covered by our fixed or free policy. If we are unable to resolve the issue we were engaged to fix, you will not be charged. This policy applies only to the specific issue described at the time of booking and does not cover issues discovered during the session that were not part of the original scope.

5. Remote Access

By engaging us for a remote session, you grant Northguard Security temporary permission to access your device for the sole purpose of performing the agreed service. You understand that:

  • You can terminate the session at any time

  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the authority to grant access to the device

  • Remote access software used during sessions does not remain installed after the session unless you choose to keep it

6. Payment

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. We charge flat rates per service with no hourly billing. Rates are provided during the booking or inquiry process. We reserve the right to require payment before beginning work.

7. No Guarantee Against Future Incidents

We do our best to remove threats and improve your security posture. However, we cannot guarantee that your device or accounts will not be compromised in the future. Cybersecurity involves ongoing risk that no single service can fully eliminate.

8. Limitation of Liability

Northguard Security's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including data loss, business interruption, or unauthorized access that occurs outside the scope of our work.

9. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the issue you need help with

  • Back up important files before any session where possible

  • Ensure you have the legal right to grant remote access to the device

  • Pay for agreed services in a timely manner

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
